After a very successful show at the Artscape Theatre in May under the artful hand of our newly appointed director - Garth Tavares, the members of Rock 'n Rouge are so excited to announce their August show as part of the Masque's Theatre Festival.

We will be performing some of our regular favourites like "Two Mammas" and "The Song that Goes Like This" as well as some stunning new songs from "Sister Act - The Musical", "We Will Rock You" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

The show is on the 7th of August at 7pm at the Masque Theatre - One Night Only so book soon to avoid disappointment (as you know we have full houses wherever we go!) on 021 788 1898.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Rock 'n Rouge is proud to announce a one-night-only performance at the Artscape Arena!

We are SO excited to be kicking off the winter season with our new show, including some Rock 'n Rouge favourites, and of course, a couple of new showstoppers from Broadway/West End musicals such as SISTER ACT, LEGALLY BLONDE, LA CAGE and many more!

Well first of all, BOOKINGS ARE OPEN for our New Year's Eve gig at the masque theatre. Seats are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment. It is going to be THE place to be this New Year's Eve! call 021 788 1898 for bookings

Secondly, our Resident Redhead, Jen Moss is in Annie which has kicked off to rave reviews at the Artscape Opera House! Be sure not to miss this fantastic musical spectacular, with our very own Jen playing Lilly St Regis!

And... don't forget to book your tickets for Gigi at the Masque theatre in December - where Luella Holland (our Blonde Bombshell) plays the leading lady. The show is set to be a rip-roaring success.

Great news for Julian (our token Gent), too... he has landed himself a role in next year's production at the Artscape of the Merry Widow!

As for me (Chenara), my debut CD will be released in 2011... so watch out for that!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, Cape Town’s hottest comedy cabaret group returns to the Masque Theatre to invite you to their New Years Eve Celebrations, in an evening of MORE music, MORE laughter and MORE entertainment!

Kicking the new year off with a brand new show, covering a variety of songs the musicals,such as Cabaret, La Cage aux Folles, Gypsy, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You, ROCK 'N ROUGE promises a night of comedy, glamour, song, dance, and little bit of naughty. So come along and join us in celebrating 2010 and 2011. Snacks and champagne will be served. Join us after the show in Masque Theatre foyer, where the party continues.

Rock 'n Rouge Rocks Obz Cafe

On Saturday the 7th of August, Rock 'n Rouge sold out yet another show... this time at Obz Cafe. The first half of the show was a preview of our latest additions to the show including new numbers from A Chorus Line and Curtains. In the second half of the show the floor was opened to showcase the singing delights of a number of friends and fans!

Another great show... and a huge thank you to the brilliant support received once again!

Back at the Masque by Popular Demand

Save July 2nd and 3rd in your diaries as Rock 'n Rouge will be back at the Masque Theatre, Muizenberg, by popular demand. After sell-out shows in March, the group will be returning with an updated program that will get you laughing and tapping along.
The group has been very busy with Julian currently blowing Artscape audiences away as the nonsensical nun, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense A-men and Luella rehearsing for her role as Lady Windermere. This hasn't stopped the members from performing at various corporate functions (including the prestigious Pam Golding Gold Club awards at Pigalle earlier this month) and working on an exciting updated program.

Jen will be Lilly!

After a gruelling audition process, we finally heard that our very own Jennifer Moss will be playing Lilly St Regis in Annie later this year at the Artscape Opera House! Congrats Jenny!!!!

Besides being active Rock 'n Rougers', we all make other theatrical commitments from time to time. In May this year, Julian takes to the Artscape stage, too, as Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense A-men. Later in the year, Luella takes to the Masque Theatre stage as Lady Windermere in Lady Windermere's fan.

Rock 'n Rouge Rocks Beefcakes
